Weather the earth will perish or abide for ever?

Dear Brothers & Sister's

The Glorious Qur’an is the last and final Revelation which was revealed to the last and final Messenger Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.

For any book to claim that it is a Revelation from Almighty God, it should stand the test of time. Previously in the olden days, it was the age of miracles - Alhamdulillah, the Qur’an is the miracle of miracles. Later on came the age of literature and poetry, and Muslims and Non Muslims alike, they claim the Glorious Qur’an to be the best Arabic literature available on the face of the Earth. But today is the age of science and technology. Let us analyze whether the Qur’an is compatible or incompatible with modern science. Albert Einstein said… ‘Science without Religion is lame, and Religion without Science is blind’. Let me remind you that the Glorious Qur’an is not a book of Science…S-C-I-E-N-C-E, It is a book of signs S-I-G-N-S… It is a book of Ayats. And there more than 6000 signs… Ayats in the Glorious Qur’an out of which more than a thousand speak about science. As far as my talk regarding Qur’an and Science is concerned, I will only be speaking about scientific facts which has been established. I will not be speaking about scientific hypothesis and theories, which are based on assumption without any proof, because we all know many a times science takes U-turns.

If you have read my post BING BANG (http://ovaissiddiq.blogspot.com/2011/02/big-bang-theory-where-did-it-came-from.html) it has stated about the end of the earth,  in the light of Noble Quran which has been conformed by Modern Science too, 

Today what we will discuss, that weather the earth will parish or abide for ever in the Light of Quran, Bible and Science.

 (Qur'an, 39:67)

وَ مَا قَدَرُوا اللہَ حَقَّ قَدْرِہٖ ٭ۖ وَ الْاَرْضُ جَمِیۡعًا قَبْضَتُہٗ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَۃِ وَ السَّمٰوٰتُ مَطْوِیّٰتٌۢ بِیَمِیۡنِہٖ ؕ سُبْحٰنَہٗ وَ تَعٰلٰی عَمَّا یُشْرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۶۷﴾

 اور انہوں نے اللّٰہ کی قدر نہ کی جیسا کہ اس کا حق تھا (ف۱۳۹) اور وہ قیامت کے دن سب زمینوں کو سمیٹ دے گا اور اس کی قدرت سے سب آسمان لپیٹ دئیے جائیں گے (ف۱۴۰)اور ان کے شرک سے پاک اور برتر ہے 

They do not measure Allah with His true measure. The whole earth will be a mere handful for Him on the Day of Rising the heavens folded up in His right hand. Glory be to Him! He is exalted above the partners they ascribe! (Qur'an, 39:67)

According to the Big Crunch theory, the universe will begin to collapse slowly and will then increasingly pick up speed. At the end of the process the universe will have infinite density and be infinitely hot and small. This scientific theory runs parallel to the Qur'anic explanation of this particular scientific concept. (Allah knows best)

Regarding the concept of Earth, there are various Scientists who have described… ‘How will the world end.’ Hypothesis Some may be right, some may be wrong. But either the world will perish or the world will live forever. Both cannot take place simultaneously – It is unscientific.

 But this is exactly what the Bible says. It is mentioned in the Bible, in the book of Hebrews, Ch. No.1 Verses No.10 and 11, and the book of Psalms, Ch. No.102, Verse No.25 and 26, that…‘Almighty God created the Heavens and the Earth, and they will perish.’ Exactly opposite is mentioned in the book of Ecclesiastics, Ch. No.1, Verse No.4, and in the book of Psalms, Ch. No.78, Verse No.69, that… ‘The earth will abide forever.’ I leave it to you to choose which of the two Verses are unscientific - the first pair or the second pair. One has to be unscientific - Both cannot take place. The world cannot abide forever as well as perish –

HEBREWS ch.1 ver 10, 11 and cht pslam ch.102 ver 25-26

10He also says,

“In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations

of the earth, (NIV)

and the heavens are the work of your hands.

11 They will perish, but you remain;

they will all wear out like a garment. (NIV)

Heb:1:10: And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (KJV)

Heb:1:11: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; (KJV)

Psalm 102

25 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the

earth,

and the heavens are the work of your hands. (NIV)

26 They will perish, but you remain;

they will all wear out like a garment.

Like clothing you will change them

and they will be discarded. (NIV)

Psalms:102:25: Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. (KJV)

Psalms:102:26: They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:  (KJV)

Exactly opposite

book of ecclesiastes ch.1 v.4

Ecclesiastes 1

4 Generations come and generations go,

but the earth remains forever. (NIV)

Ec:1:4: One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.(KJV)

PSALM Chapter 78: Verse 69

69He built his sanctuary like the heights,

like the earth that he established forever. (NIV)

Psalms:78:69: And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever (KJV)

The Qur’an says:

"Deaf, dumb, and blind,
They will not return (to the path)."     [Al-Qur'an 2:18]


The Bible gives a similar message in the Gospel of Matthew:

"Seeing they see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."    [The Bible, Matthew 13:13]


A similar message is also given in the Hindu Scriptures in the Rigveda.

"There maybe someone who sees the words and yet indeed does not see them; may be another one who hears these words but indeed does not hear them." 1
                  [Rigveda 10:71:4]
All these scriptures are telling their readers that though the things are

 made so clear yet many people divert away from the truth.
